Spiderhost’s Custom Programming Helps Central Floridians Get Healthy

Orlando, FL – ISP and IT partner Spiderhost announces its participation in Project Pressure, an initiative by Get Healthy Florida to get Central Floridians’ blood pressure healthy.

Project Pressure is the area’s most comprehensive community-wide health project to date: a year-long campaign designed to reduce high blood pressure by increasing awareness of blood pressure and cardiovascular risk.

The project challenges 1,000,000 Central Floridians to have their blood pressure checked and then enter the systolic and diastolic numbers to become part of the count.  As the number climbs it’s updated in real time on the website and on billboards throughout Central Florida.

And this is where Spiderhost came in to develop the back-end web program that makes this real-time billboard reporting work.

Spiderhost developed a special webpage that Project Pressure sends updated stats to, and the billboard company then uses to update the live billboard readouts.

Dale Frohman, Spiderhost’s President and Head Spider, is pumped about the project.
